Perfect Household Staff is proud to present a fantastic opportunity for a professional and reliable Handyman to work full-time across a portfolio of high-end residential properties located throughout London. This live-out position is ideal for a tradesperson who is polite, organised, and proactive, with a strong sense of personal responsibility and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will report directly to an experienced Property Manager who will assign repair and maintenance tasks based on your preferred location and availability. If you are only available to work in specific areas of London, the workload will be focused accordingly; if you are open to covering more ground, a wider scope of assignments will be offered.

This is a live-out position with all assignments based across London. While the properties are located in areas well-served by public transport, candidates must have their own car and full UK driving licence, as travel between residences is essential. All jobs are scheduled by the Property Manager with consideration for your preferred working locations, and fuel costs may be discussed directly. Applicants should be confident navigating around London and arriving punctually with their own professional toolkit.

Working as a Handyman in a private domestic setting requires a high level of discretion, a tidy working manner, and confidence in diagnosing and resolving common property issues. The duties will include basic plumbing (such as fixing leaks), painting and decorating, replacing broken tiles, adjusting or fixing doors and windows, addressing minor flooring issues, and changing locks. You must be capable of working independently to a high standard and communicating effectively with the Property Manager. Candidates are expected to supply their own tools and be fully equipped for the responsibilities of the role.

Main duties of the Full-Time Handyman:

Diagnosing and fixing leak issues
Interior and exterior painting and decorating
Repairing or replacing damaged floor sections and tiles
Adjusting or repairing faulty doors and window mechanisms
Changing locks and minor security fittings
Light carpentry and patch repairs
Liaising with the Property Manager for daily task assignments
Transporting tools and supplies to and from properties (own vehicle required)
Maintaining a clean and professional work area within private homes

Requirements for this Full-Time Handyman job:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant private housekeeping experience
Two excellent checkable references
Legal right to work in the UK
Conversational level of English
