Our new clients are looking for an experienced and a versatile hands on House Manager who would be happy to get stuck in to the housekeeping, cooking and general family errands. The family do travel a lot.
The family consists of two principals, their 3 grown children and a cute Cavapoo dog ))
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Live-in (accommodation provided)
Days and Hours: 5 working days, 2 days off. Hours are quite flexible.
Language: no preference
Driving license: UK/EU
Salary: negotiable
Duties:
Cooking for the family of 5: Kosher cooking, diverse healthy options (vegetarian and vegan cuisine as well as meat dishes)
Cleaning the house (bedrooms, reception rooms, hallways, kitchen, bathrooms, etc)
Liaising with service engineers, pool mechanics, house alarm, air con, etc
Taking care of a dog (who is hypoallergenic), feeding fish
Looking after the house when the family are away: ensuring pool maintained, food shopping, etc
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
Ability to liaise with the engineers
Knowledge of kosher, vegan, vegetarian, healthy cooking (or ready to learn)

Sunny disposition
Provided accommodation is an en-suite bedroom at the top of the house and a kitchenette.
This position is very hands on as the ideal candidate will be required to deal with the housekeeping aspects of the job themselves. Please note that the previous housekeepers / house managers that the family employed were Australian, South African and Portuguese. The person who is currently there will be going away on maternity leave in early September.
