PERMANENT LIVE-OUT DOMESTIC COUPLE

Salary: €90,000–€110,000 Net per Year, depending on experience
A private family is seeking an experienced and professional Domestic Couple to take responsibility for the care and smooth running of their beautiful villa in Santa Gertrudes, Ibiza.
The property is the family’s second home and is primarily occupied during the summer, Christmas and Easter periods. When the family is away, the couple will maintain the villa to an exceptional standard, with a lighter and more flexible working schedule focused on keeping the property immaculate and ready for the family’s return. When the family is in residence, the couple will be expected to demonstrate greater flexibility and adapt their schedule to meet the household’s needs.
The ideal couple will have at least five years of experience working in Ultra High Net Worth private households and will bring excellent references from previous employers. They should be confident working independently, taking initiative and managing their responsibilities to a consistently high standard without close supervision. Discretion, reliability and a positive approach are particularly important to the family. Due to the household being formal the family will provide a uniform for the couple. The principals are also offering formal employment with standard holiday entitlement.
Housekeeping will form the core of the position, including detailed cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care and general upkeep of the villa. The family prefers eco-friendly cleaning products with minimal fragrance, so previous experience working with low-scent or environmentally conscious products would be an advantage.
Cooking will also form part of the role, with the couple expected to prepare fresh, healthy meals for the family. A good knowledge of Italian and European cuisine, together with some familiarity with Asian cuisine, would be appreciated. There are no known food allergies or dietary restrictions within the household.

Working Days: Several days a week while the principals are away; flexibility required when they are in residense

Main duties of the Domestic Couple:
- Maintaining the villa to an exceptional standard throughout the year, ensuring it remains immaculate and fully prepared for the family’s arrival
- Carrying out detailed housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general care of the property
- Managing laundry and ironing, with appropriate care given to high-quality garments and household linens
- Maintaining wardrobes and ensuring clothing and personal belongings are kept organised
- Preparing fresh, healthy meals for the family and guests, with a focus on Italian and European cuisine and some Asian dishes
- Using eco-friendly, low-scent cleaning products in line with the family’s preferences
- Monitoring household supplies and ensuring essential items are maintained and replenished
- Taking responsibility for day-to-day household tasks and identifying areas requiring attention without being asked
- Working collaboratively with the gardener and any other household support to ensure the smooth running of the property
- Adjusting working hours and priorities when the family is in residence, providing a flexible and attentive level of service
- Maintaining complete discretion and respecting the privacy of the family and their guests at all times
- Undertaking driving duties when required, using a vehicle provided by the family
Requirements for this Domestic Couple job:
- Minimum five years of experience working in Ultra High Net Worth private households
- Excellent references from previous private employers
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good cooking ability, particularly Italian and European cuisine, with some knowledge of Asian cuisine
- Experience with eco-friendly and low-scent cleaning products would be advantageous
- A responsible and reliable approach to household duties
- Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
- Positive, discreet and professional manner
- Flexibility to adapt to the family’s changing requirements when in residence
- Valid European Union right to work or a European passport
- Valid driving licence
