Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a professional, energetic, and personable Domestic Couple to join a warm and active private family at their beautiful summer villa in Sotogrande, Spain, for five weeks during the summer season witha a start date on May, 31. The family are seeking a capable and hands-on couple consisting of a Cook / Housekeeper and a Driver who genuinely enjoy working within a relaxed family environment while maintaining excellent standards of service and organisation. The household will consist of 9 people during the summer stay, and the family are looking for professionals who are proactive, adaptable, and happy to integrate naturally into the daily rhythm of villa life.
This is a live-in temporary role based in Sotogrande, Spain, with separate accommodation provided adjacent to the villa, including a private terrace for the successful couple. Return flights will be provided as well as a car for both work-related duties and personal use on days off. The schedule will be structured across six working days per week with Mondays off. The Cook / Housekeeper will be responsible for preparing fresh, relaxed family-style meals using seasonal and local produce, while also assisting with weekend housekeeping coverage when the regular weekday Housekeeper is off duty. The Driver will support the family with transportation to activities, airport transfers, grocery shopping, and general errands. The role would suit a warm, flexible, and service-oriented Domestic Couple comfortable working in a busy summer household while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
Working as a Domestic Couple within this household involves supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the villa while ensuring the family are able to fully enjoy their summer stay. Duties will include preparing daily breakfasts, lunches, dinners, BBQs, salads, waffles, egg dishes, and other relaxed family-style meals, alongside managing shopping, pantry organisation, and stock control. The couple will also provide full housekeeping coverage at weekends, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organisation, bed changes, and maintaining immaculate presentation throughout the property. Additional responsibilities include driving the children to golf, tennis, and other activities, assisting with light villa management, liaising with gardeners and pool maintenance teams, and overseeing the household during occasional overnight parental absences for work-related travel. This is a dynamic and hands-on role ideally suited to a professional Domestic Couple who enjoy family life, teamwork, and delivering seamless support within a relaxed luxury environment.

- Planning, preparing, and serving daily family-style breakfasts, lunches, and dinners using fresh seasonal produce
- Preparing relaxed meals including BBQs, grilled dishes, salads, waffles, egg dishes, and simple family favourites
- Managing weekly supermarket shopping, pantry organisation, stock control, and food budgeting
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented kitchen environment at all times
- Providing full housekeeping coverage during weekends, including scheduled cleaning, laundry, ironing, tidying, and bed changes
- Assisting weekday Housekeepers when additional support is required
- Supporting wardrobe organisation and linen management
- Driving children safely to golf, tennis, clubs, and other activities throughout the week
- Managing general family errands and airport transfers as required
- Liaising with pool maintenance teams, gardeners, and other external contractors regarding villa upkeep
- Monitoring the overall presentation and smooth running of the villa and reporting maintenance issues to the family
- Providing sole overnight responsibility for the children on occasional work-related overnight absences by the parents
- Settling into the villa ahead of the family’s arrival to ensure the property is fully prepared and organised
- Maintaining a relaxed, warm, and professional presence within the family environment at all times
- EU Driving Licence
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English
