Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an extensive, logical, reliable, smart, and detail-oriented butler to join a private family in their impressive seven-bedroom mansion in Jumeirah, Dubai. The family consists of two adults, a two-year-old child, and two dogs, and they are looking for a pro-active and hands-on professional who can take responsibility for the smooth running of their large private residence. Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most prestigious residential areas, known for its beautiful villas, beaches, excellent restaurants, and convenient access to the city’s international business and leisure destinations.
A senior butler plays an important role in ensuring that a large private residence operates smoothly and efficiently. This typically involves supervising household staff, coordinating daily routines, overseeing standards of cleanliness and presentation, managing household supplies, and ensuring that the principals’ needs are anticipated and met. In this position, the successful candidate will supervise a domestic team of ten, including the nanny, chef, housekeepers, and chauffeur. The role is managerial but also requires a hands-on approach, with the butler expected to step in and assist the housekeepers when necessary.
The successful candidate will also accompany the principals during international trips to the USA and Europe.

This is a live-out position in Jumeirah, one of Dubai’s most sought-after residential areas. The area offers excellent amenities, restaurants, shops, beaches, and transport connections, making it a desirable location for an experienced domestic professional. The family does not provide accommodation or relocation assistance, so candidates should either already be based in the UAE or be prepared to arrange and fund their own relocation and accommodation.

Main duties of the Full-Time Butler:
- Taking overall responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the seven-bedroom villa.
- Supervising and coordinating a domestic team of approximately ten members, including the nanny, chef, housekeepers, and chauffeur.
- Organising the household team’s daily schedules and ensuring that responsibilities are clearly allocated.
- Monitoring the standard of service provided by all household staff.
- Ensuring that the villa is consistently clean, organised, well-presented, and ready for the principals and their guests.
- Overseeing the housekeepers and ensuring that all laundry and household cleaning are completed to a high standard.
- Being prepared to step in and assist with housekeeping duties when required.
- Monitoring household supplies and ensuring that essential items are available when needed.
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new domestic staff when necessary.
- Assisting with the smooth integration of new members of the household team.
- Communicating with the principals regarding household requirements and ensuring that their expectations are met.
- Anticipating the needs of the principals and taking a pro-active approach to household management.
- Coordinating household arrangements before and during the principals’ travel.
- Accompanying the principals on international trips to the USA and Europe when required.
- Overseeing the general well-being of the family’s two dogs while the actual hands-on dog care remains with the appropriate household staff.
- Maintaining a professional, discreet, and respectful approach at all times.
- Handling household matters logically and efficiently and addressing issues before they become problems.
- Remaining hands-on and willing to support the wider household team when necessary.
- Maintaining excellent standards of discretion and confidentiality within the private residence.
Requirements for this Full-Time Butler job:
- Three or more years of experience in private households
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- EU passport
