Vacancy: Live-In Nanny Job

Our clients, a friendly family with two lovely boys aged 3 and 7, are looking for a professional and trustworthy Nanny with housekeeping experience to join a professional household team on a permanent, live-in or live-out basis. The family would be happy to find a French speaker as the parents want their children to learn the language and raise embracing the culture. The families wonderful property is located in a wonderful, historical area of Weybridge, St. George's Hill.
We are looking for a flexible and responsible Nanny who is experienced in childcare working with private families. The successful candidate is expected to well organised and to have a hands-on attitude, to organise and play developing games, to set up a daily routine and to cook for the children as well as to keep the children's areas clean and tidy. Also, the chosen candidate would be expected to help the household team with some housekeeping when the children are at school.
It is very important that we find a person with the extensive experience of working with HNW families and good references from the previous employers as well as willing to have a long-term position and to be a team player.
Type: Live In, Full Time, Permanent
Working Days: Monday - Friday | sometimes 6 days per week if it is required
Working Hours: 8am - 8pm or 9am-9pm
Salary: Depends on the candidate's experience and skills | £50k Gross annually (£3000 per month) (Salary Calculator)
Start: ASAP
Languages: English, French is a bonus
Driving License: Required
The nanny/governess duties list may include but not limited to:
- Morning, Bath and Bedtime routine
- School drop off and pick up
- Encourage children to speak French
- Cooking for the children
- Tidying and organising the bedrooms, playroom and children’s toys and clothes in other areas.
- Children’s laundry (washing and ironing)
- Preparing development activities
- Taking them to activities/playdates
- Playtime (arts and crafts, swimming, role play, reading, board games)
- Outdoor Play
