Vacancy: Live-in Carer

Our new clients are looking for a professional and experienced live-in Carer to join their friendly family and to take care of a discerning lady of 89 y.o. The family would be happy to find an Italian speaker as the language is spoken at home. The property is located in Wembley, Greater London.
The successful candidate is expected to have extensive care experience, excellent references, personal liability insurance, to have a kind nature and a willingness to help people. A medical background could be a bonus. The chosen private carer will be in charge of personal support for the Client, of cooking healthy meals following dietary needs and good standards of hygiene, provide medication as well as of doing light housekeeping, although there is a part-time housekeeper employed.
We are looking for a personal carer with a solid understanding of what good care looks like, a calm hands-on attitude, who is well educated, gentle and good company.
Type: Full time, Live-in, Permanent
Start: 1st October 2020
Days and hours: 24/7
Salary: 45.000 GBP Gross per year
Driving License is a bonus
Language: good command of Italian
Accommodatoin will be provided.
The duties will include but not be limited to:
Personal care
Cooking for the clientHousehold support
Medication
Being a friend / companion
Promoting well –being and independence
Other daily duties
The Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years experience working in a similar role in the UK (references must be available);
Must be highly professional, organised and flexible;
Discreet, reliable, trustworthy, positive, warm, kind and understanding;
Must hold a CRB/DBS
Must hold Paediatric First Aid Certificate
