Our clients, a friendly family with 3 children, are looking for an experienced and energetic Part-time Housekeeper. The property is located in a historical part of London, Notting Hill area.
The property is fairly large, there are 6 floors, 7 bedrooms and a cinema room, but not all of the rooms are used on a daily basis. The successful candidates must be well organised and have a hands-on attitude, provide high standards of housekeeping and be child friendly!
The successful candidate is expected to be experienced with cleaning antique furniture, polishing silver and marble as well as doing laundry and wardrobe management. There will be a second Full-time housekeeper, thus it is important to be able to work as a team and be flexible. Cooking is not a requirement but could be a bonus.
Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Live-Out
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience, from £15-17 Gross/ hours)
Working days: 3-4 days / week (Flexible)
Working Hours: from 7am or flexible | 10 Hours / Day (with flexibility as working hours can be extended )
Languages: English
Housekeeper duties may include:
Housekeeping duties (dusting, mopping, hoovering, etc)Laundry and ironing (fine fabrics, washing, steaming, mending of clothing)Dry cleaningWardrobe managementCooking occasionally if it is required
Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years experience working in a similar role in the UK (references must be available);Must be highly professional, organised and flexible;Discreet, reliable, trustworthy, positive, warm, kind and understanding;Must hold a CRB/DBS
