Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present this excellent opportunity for a highly versatile and professional all-rounder to join a private household in Kensington. This permanent, full-time, live-out position is ideally suited for an individual with proven experience in multi-faceted domestic roles, who can combine driving duties with light cooking, support to the housekeeping team, and general household maintenance.
Kensington is one of London’s most prestigious residential areas, offering elegant architecture, a vibrant cultural scene, and excellent amenities. Its proximity to central London and leafy parks makes it a highly desirable location for professionals working in the private household sector.
The family requires a capable, trustworthy, and adaptable individual who is happy to work a standard schedule of 8:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. On occasions when the family chauffeur is away, the successful candidate will begin work later in the day to accommodate evening driving duties, including transporting the principals to and from dinners. Flexibility is therefore essential.
The role involves driving, cooking evening meals for the family, and, on occasions when the chef is away, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other responsibilities include assisting the housekeeper with cleaning when required, performing light maintenance and handyman tasks, caring for the patio and garden areas, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the household.
The household has a dog, so the candidate must be comfortable around animals and able to assist with basic pet care.
The position also requires travelling with the family for up to three consecutive weeks several times per year. The ideal candidate will be a confident driver with a clean UK driving licence, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing household needs.

Main duties of the Full-Time All-Rounder:
- Driving principals to appointments, social events, and dinners when required
- Cooking healthy evening meals, ideally Mediterranean or Asian cuisine
- Preparing all three meals on days when the chef is absent
- Assisting the housekeeper with cleaning when necessary
- Performing basic household maintenance (e.g. replacing light bulbs, minor repairs)
- Keeping the patio and garden areas free from leaves and debris
- Caring for the household dog when necessary
- Travelling with the family for extended periods several times a year
Requirements for this Full-Time All-Rounder job:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Conversational level of English
- A valid driving licence
